Droylsden 12EL
Location: Manchester
This project involved the conversion of a listed building into a high-quality HMO, carefully balancing heritage constraints with modern living standards. The scheme introduced multiple bedrooms through efficient spatial planning to maximise occupancy and usability. Significant structural interventions, including the installation of multiple steel beams and the formation of a new floor level, were coordinated closely with our structural engineering. A bespoke staircase was designed to optimise circulation and integrate seamlessly within the layout. The result is a highly functional living environment that maximises the building’s potential while preserving its historic character.
